Audit Tools & Examples

These resources to support evaluation of either current or proposed curriculum designs. Download resources from the panel on the right. The text below gives more information about the files.

Curriculum design check sheet:

Curriculum check sheet
Curriculum check sheet 2

A sheet asking the reader to consider how well a curriculum design matches against a series of key questions. Ideally schools will refine the list of questions by highlighting those they consider most important in their setting and removing those that are less relevant. This resource may prove useful in schools working through “what are we trying to achieve?”.

Feedback on innovations:

Feedback on innovations
Feedback on innovations 2

A simple resource to promote reflection and feedback on potential innovations a school might be considering. Schools should use this resource with modification to their own setting. This resource may prove useful in schools working through “what are we trying to achieve?”.

Personalisation audit:

Personalisation audit

Adapted from the Rethinking KS3 pamphlet. The audit invites the reader to consider a wide range of activities being undertaken by many schools developing personalisation, and the characteristics they seek to develop in their learners. This resource may prove useful in schools working through “what are we trying to achieve?”.
